I was soooooooo happy when they finally came on TV to report Obama the 44th President of the United States!!! I'll admit, I was even crying a little, watching the faces of his supporters at Grant Park, Illinois. I heard Congressman John Lewis talk for awhile about marching with MLK Jr. and what this meant to all of those who had fought for equality all these years. And now here we are, 2008 with a biracial president. It is just amazing and listening to McCain's gracious losing speech as well as Obama's "let's work together with each other and the world speech" made me so happy and proud to be an American. I know, easy on the cheese, but I can't help it.
